Manoushe with Za'atar

(Lebanese Herb Flatbread)


  • 1 package ready-made pizza dough

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

  • 4 Tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil

  • 4 Tablespoons Za'atar


  1.  Defrost dough according to package instructions.
  2. Pre-heat oven to 400°. Roll out dough on a floured surface using a rolling pin. You can make little pizzettes (3 inches wide) or larger ones (6 inches wide).
  3. Lay out dough pieces on a parchment paper lined tray. Make little indentations on each piece using the tips of your fingers, so that as you drizzle the extra-virgin olive oil and sprinkle the Za'atar, both can coat and pool the top of the dough. 
  4. Bake for 10-12 minutes for pizzettes, 15-20 minutes for larger pieces.

Enjoy warm, with fresh tomatoes or cucumber chunks on top.
